I’m Jai, the baddie behind Purpuraw and I am a self-taught illustrator. I grew up en Puerto Rico but consider New Jersey my second home. As many, I too was pressured into studying science but, my passion for art said "SIKE!" and led me to pursue a career sharing my art in 2023.

My current style of art tends to be influenced by my culture and the revelry that kicked in after moving out. Purpuraw is inspired by culture, identity, and visibility for topics that matter, and some other silly sh*t. I created a brand to express the boldest version of oneself, mixing in my devotion to the shades of purple. All items found in Purpuraw aim to inspire people everywhere to share with the world who they are. It’s meant to be controversial sometimes, just vibe.
